  • The Language League competition will be held on the NSU campus. And everything you need to know about the time and date is given on the website. Please go through the website for detailed information.

  • You can register from Language League’s official website.

  • You can follow the rules and regulations posted on our website, and also practice the past papers.

  • No, not the entire program.

  • You must bring your admit card and a copy of your registration form.

  • No, the campus ambassadors are not allowed to be participants in the Language League because it will intervene with their other duties.

  • Your department or background doesn’t matter as long as you are eligible in age and your education level.

  • Yes, depending on the students’ needs they will be assisted such as interpreting services and speech-language and audiology services.

  • At the very least the participants should wear semi-formally but it is encouraged for participants to wear formal clothing.

  • It is advised for students to at least speak passable English (as a person whose First language isn't English) however, the more fluent the participant is the better it is for them.

  • Not mandatory but don’t forget to wear a mask and maintain safety rules.

  • The semi-final and final venue will be the North South University campus but the venue for the divisional round will be according to the particular district and will be announced later.

  • Three, Divisional selection Round, Semi-Final, and Final.

  • Necessary stationaries and necessary elements that are related to your segment.

  • You do not need to bring any other material except the basic tools in your pencil box. However, if you are needed to bring any other materials based on your competition segment than you will be informed on the website. So please keep a check on the website.

  • If the International students do suffer from their classes and the Language League clashing they can pre-record their segments and mail them to the judges.

  • You have been at the exam venue at least half an hour ago. Using an electronic device during the exam is forbidden.

  • Yes, There will be Volunteers at every venue to help the participant.

  • It is advised to bring only one of your guardians during the competition and while you take part in the competition the guardian is advised to wait at the place shown to them.

  • It is better if you don’t. We understand your emotion however bringing too many people will overcrowd the award ceremony hence causing trouble in the process of the ceremony.

  • You don’t want to need to bring food; you will be provided food during the competition.

  • No, your guardians have to manage their food. As the NSU canteen will be open that day, it won’t be hard for them to do so.

  • Yes, students must first inform the authority about their allergy and the severity and they will be accommodated accordingly.

  • You need to be present at the appropriate time for the competition. However if due to unavoidable circumstances you get late we will try to accommodate as much as possible. But it would be difficult and put you in a vulnerable position. So you must take precautions so you reach in time for the competition.

  • There is no necessary advantage or disadvantage in participating online or offline. The online part of the competition is for people outside the country so they can participate in the event too.

  • The online participants might be given just a little bit more time than the offline participants so they can prepare. Aside from them, there is no other difference. Both online and offline participants will be marked rigidly and fairly according to their performance.

  • Once the competition starts you must be present there. So it is advised to cooperate until the competition ends.

  • If you have any problem ask the closest campus ambassador or volunteer in front of you. We will try our best to sort out your problem.

  • The competition timetable will be announced on the website, so please keep a check on our website for it.

  • You can, the decision is up to you. As the award ceremony won’t be held on the day of the competitions.

  • Yes, you are allowed to roam around the campus after the competition and we hope you will be on your best behavior while doing so.

  • You can keep a pdf or picture on your phone and if necessary you can print it out from printing shops.

  • Organizers of the international language league will provide the respected guardians and participants with food tokens.

  • It is advised to take necessary precautions to arrive at the venue on time. If the participant is unable to reach due to unavoidable circumstances, he/she is advised to formally inform organizers about it beforehand.

  • There is a separate prayer room in the boys' lounge and the girls' lounge. Participants and guardians may pray there if they want.

  • The participants will have to arrange their transportation.

  • Students from the primary level (Grade 1) through the tertiary level (university) can participate. However, the segments may vary for different age groups and educational levels.

  • As many as they are willing to, as long as the schedules are not clashing and the participants can make it to the venue in due time.

  • Yes, there will be a medical team present on the NSU campus.

  • The basic information for the segments is provided on the front page of the Language league website with some important rules, please kindly check that out.

  • The results will be announced on the day of the specific round at the venue of the competition.

  • Apart from the segments which require you to speak in English, you may communicate with volunteers and invigilators in the language you're comfortable with.
